    Default End of spawn

    Well that's over.

Time to kill a few old Toms.

Me and wife drew out McAlester Army Depot for turkeys.

    Wish us luck

    Never heard a single tom.

Worst draw hunt I ever had.

Seen plenty of deer and other wildlife.

    I'm beat

All the turkey seem to hang out in the HQ area, and the area to the front gate.
I've hunted Hominy for deer several times and never saw a turkey in there.

I also got to hunt there this weekend. Did not see one tom. Did not hear one gobble. All I saw was one hen.

It may not be a bad spot , I hunt in Cherokee and Pawnee counties and gobbling activity dropped off dramatically this weekend as compared to last . I apply for macalester every year if the birds aren't vocal I'd at least get a little Intel to use on the deer hunts as scouting is so limited for the deer hunts .

I didn't see but a few tracks and they were hens.

Did bust a big bar hog.

    Wad hit him

He stumbled and stopped in thicket you could tell his day was not going well End of spawn
