Claremore Lake
I have fished Claremore lake several times over the last couple of years and although it is a pretty place to enjoy the water, I've never caught a respectable fish on that lake. I was out there a couple of days ago and the shad were schooling but I didn't see a single predator slash into them. Fished all around them with no success so I pulled out a fly rod and only managed to catch a few dink goggle-eyes, aka gub'mint bream. I trolled a bit and never saw any schooled fish on my units, either.
I know that local groups host bass tournaments out there occasionally but I'm curious to know if anyone has ever had any success in that lake? I'm pretty sure the Dead Sea might hold more action.

I haven't fished there now in probably 20 years or better, but way back then used to load up on crappie off the rock wall down by the spillway every spring. It would get so crowded that you couldn't hardly squeeze in to get a spot to fish. You might stop by the NABATAC I would think they would have the low down on it.
