Well, I've never done consistently well on Arbuckle on Crappie. Always catch bass without fishing for them. it was the same this trip. I mostly just went to see what it looked like when it wasn't 6 ft low. But I went to another central Okla lake yesterday and slayed the dinks. Didn't do worth a hoot cast and drag or single jigging the trees and stumps but went thru a 1/4 lb of minnows as fast as I could pull the Crappie off and rebait (spider rigging.) They were all 5-8 inches. Ever time I thought I had a keeper hit I found two fish on the pole. When I ran out of minnows I long lined jigs and the action was just about the same. The lake should be good in the future.
