Male crappie changing colors
While out this weekend throwing fish in the live well I was looking for the dark colored males and didn't catch any but when pulling them out of the well I had one that had put his "tux" on while in the well. So what caused it? Is it temperature being pulled from 8' deep to surface temp in the well or proximity to swollen females in the well? Or something else? Any thoughts?
