well that's too bad. I was hoping to be able to take my 3 yr old daughter there so I didn't have to fuss with her in the boat. Not a lot of kid friendly places for fishing this time of year where you can actually catch a crappie from the bank.

even if they had a day use fee, I'd pay it to not have to hassle with my boat. Business opportunity for them if they would. I don't see why they wouldn't open a new heated dock, or even an unheated one. I'd still pay the day use fee. I go to Bernice over on grand lake a few times every winter. $4 or $6 for 24 hours, Seems fair for the comfort and convenience. I see 5-10 people on average when I'm there. Seems like it could be a good way to make the Marina extra cash.

If you had the C.C sticker on it, yes. You looked at me like I was crazy. (I am) Take your Daughter to the Indian Springs or (Indian Hills) heated dock over in Bernice. It's a pretty good dock and it's really not that far from Nowata.Quote:
