Josh, sent you a PM.
Glad there getting a lot of rain hope they get that bank structure underwater by this summer. Was out at blackwell last wenesday caught six and a nice 2 lb crappies .minnows were a bust. See ya on the water
Headed here for the weekend for the 1st time ever at LCB. I'm guessing the fishing dock for crappie and maybe some saugeye. Figure I'll start there. I may do some catfishing you. Anyone have any suggestions on places to try for catfish?
I've seen a lot of catfish caught off the point right there at the dock. I'd start there
Appreciate it!
Lake is 0.38' below spillway right now.
Now over the spilway 4".
With nearly every lake using the emergency spillways, river fishing ought to be pretty good, since a lot of fish will be going downstream. Way back when, the OKC water board got a new manager. He decided to open the emergency gates at Overholser, in order to clean the sand out of the lake (a totally ridiculous idea, with no chance of being effective). It DID let most of the big fish out of Overholser, and made my friend very, very happy. That year, he noodled more big cats out of the river than he had in the previous fifteen years put together.
Thanks, aserioushunter. I have been wanting to ck CB out for a couple years but it has been so low, finally.
