My buddy asked if we could put one close to some natural structure. I put right on top of a log. 4 cement blocks dropped directly over it. Spot on target.

Great looking condo and brush. What lake?
I like where you put all of them as well. Going to be very productive come spring and summer.
I am not sure about the Condos. I have my reservations if they will produce fish. So i put some out, and will report back. I know the wood will. These were lost in the Kaw Sea.
Yeah I heard once the moss builds up on the PVC they are even better than fresh PVC. PVC is what I will be putting out this year. Will be my 1st time dropping structure. Plan on doing it often.
I've heard that too.
Sanding PVC is a must to get the algae to grow faster. Honey Hole Trees from Pond King are pre sanded. You can save time and role PVC limbs on concrete to get faster roughing results. Yes the heat from May -September help faster algae growth too.
FYI..take a rag and some acetone and wipe the finish off the pipe. Lot easier than sanding. You'll feel the surface start to get soft and sticky.
Gman
Gamblinman, where have you been? Are you living in Texas? Been missing you up here at Oologah.
