Those come from some of your new stake beds Nip???
Dang,
Those the ones from Wister you told me you found yesterday?
No Darrell these didn't come from my stake beds. I put my 1st set of stake beds in too shallow of water or at least while the lake is low. My other ones are in 30' of water. This lake is different than what I'm use to. Summer time they are deep. Talking they were 20' deep in August. Last couple of weeks they moved shallower at around 12-14' deep and were all over my piles. Spider rigging killed them. This last weekend they weren't on my piles at all and I found them even shallower at around 8'-10' of water and buried deep in the structure. I had to ditch my 4 rod spider rigging I've been practicing the last several weeks and get at them with my Huckabee, a weedless and 2.5" crappie carrot.
Putting brush piles/stake buckets out was one of the best things I could've done to be a better fisherman. It helped me learn my graphs more and make me a better under water structure fisherman. I'm now more confident when hitting the water. My wife looked at me like I was plum crazy though!!!
No these didnt come from Wister, they came from Draper.
Great job Travis!!! Nothing wrong with those images at all. You can clearly see the structure and if its holding fish. Well done bub!!!!
