    Default Garmin state lake maps?


    I've pretty much decided to go with a hand held GPS for my boat, since I can move it to another one if I upgrade next year.

    I've only used Navionics charts before, but the Garmins do not accept them. Is anyone running a Garmin Chartplotter or hand held on lakes like Canton, Sooner, or Carl Blackwell? How good or bad are the lake charts for them and is it worth getting the map chip?

    And some fish from Canton for the heck of it.
