Jamie keep posting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I enjoy your posts. You did nothing wrong. Josh corrected the situation. Don't go away
I deleted the two posts by CrappieJiggin per his request. I personally did not see a problem with either of them. The man evidently got a bad batch of line OR something else happened. There is nothing wrong with a testimony about a product good or bad since there seems to be an onslaught of Tackle being peddled vs Crappie talk.
I hope he continues to post as he has become part of the Crappie.com family over time.
I commend Bonehead Tackle for their civil response as well as others.
I'm pleased that everyone involved remained cool.

Amen to all of that Reaper
After reading all of the responses to c_j's post and Josh's response, I guess I'm going to have to order some Bonehead line! I'm a avid fan of the Viscious products, however, based on what I've heard about Bonehead and Josh's service, I'm not too old to try something new (no comments WW42)!
I didn't see any of the comments about Bonehead or Josh but, I can tell everyone that Josh is a standup guy and one I am proud to call friend! Before you beat him or his products up here on the forum, you need to confront him personally first. I'm sure he will resolve any issue to your satisfaction.
C'mon now Bob. This horse is long since dead. No need to resuscitate him so we can beat him some more.
DB42-no comment, per your request! (chuckle chuckle, walks off slowly smh)
You'll notice a difference just by the feel of the line. Viscious feels rough when you rub it. Bonehead is slick as snot. Only complaint I have is I wish Bonehead's hi-vis was more hi-vis. It is more like lime green/chartreuse. Not nearly as bright as other companies. But this doesn't stop me from using it as it is by far the best mono I have found. I also have it in orange which I am digging.
Jamie Cone Back!!!!!! You are one of us now get you cheeks back on here!!!!!! I can say that this has happened 1 time before that I know of. Last year during the spawn I was contacted not only by a fellow Okie C.C fisherman but also from Josh saying he had heard that a guy was having trouble with his 10lb line breaking when jerking on a fish double dipping and losing both jigs. Line was breaking at the knot of the top jig. I called our brother and we discussed knots and how many times his line had broken. I met him on the water the next day and looked at his rig. I could break his line easily between my hands on a jerk. After inspection it was a mismarked spool of 10lb which had 4lb spooled on it. I have him a new spool of 10lb right on the spot. It happens I guess. Anyways Jiggin glad your problem was resolved and now GET YOUR CRACKERS BACK ON HERE........Ranger
You saying Jamie Come Back had me saying it like the song Baby Come Back in my head, lol.
Yeah I'm a goof like that.
I had a couple of issues with Bonehead products and, after finally contacting Josh, was extremely impressed with his customer service. He bent over backwards to resolve my issues. I wish more companies had as good customer service as Bonehead.
People will make their choices based on their own experience. Like DB42, I'm an avid Viscious fan. Josh sent me a free roll of his mono and it seems very good. It was 10 lb clear so it went on other than Crappie gear and I haven't used it much. It seems slick but it also is stiffer than what I normally use. I have had such good luck with Viscious (and Wally's line) I probably won't change soon. The primary reason tho' is pricepoint. I can get 300 yds Bonehead or 1500 yds of Mr Crappie or 2360 yds of Viscious all for $6.99. Having never had a problem with the latter two I'm not likely to change. Like DB42 I'm not too old to try something new (but I am probably too cheap.):dono
My absolute favorite Bonehead product is the EVA bobbers. They are a little pricey but worth every penny. I like to slip cork and they are my favorite bobber for sure. If you haven't tried them you need to. The Bonehead plastics and jigheads are good but there is such a proliferation of makers you can choose from several. I have some of Boneheads as well as others.
Remember, most fishing stuff is designed to attract fishermen instead of fish. Try em all and make your own choice for spending your $$. Just relax and have fun fishing.
I'm not leaving, just not going to post near as much as I have in the past(like I posted much anyways). I stated slim to none, not completely gone. I will be lurking in the shadows and will through up a picture or two from time to time. And a picture will be all it is with no comments or details. You can pm me if you like.
Ok enough about me and let's get this thread back on track of Bonehead products.
You're kidding?
Man I hate to hear that. Maybe Bonehead will chime in here with a good reason of why you are still waiting.
Jamie, I'm a member of the same club!!
Hey it's been a while since I been on here. We have been swamped opening a new machine shop in North Carolina. I knew of only one person I needed to get a spool of braided 12lb to. I asked the guy to please resend his address. I have not received it yet. He is probably gone for the Christmas. My number is 580-276-0768 would like to visit with you and get it figured out. I apologize for the problem.
