I drove by this lake yesterday on business. Looks like it would be a pretty place to spend the day on the water. Anybody ever fish it? I guess it was low for a long time. Wondering if it's worth the drive.

Haven't fished it lately but it does have some good crappie in it. It's got 2 good creeks on the north end and also around the dam is worthy to check out.

Tom Steed is a very good lake for crappie, it is fishing a little tough right now but should explode in a few weeks. It also has a good population of walleye; hybrid stripers; and catfish if only the wind would let up a little.
