my dad, and three other boats that i know of will be there thursday and friday. I will let you know what everyone finds. I hear the "pump back" cove that we launch in is good. I will be looking in Rock Creek up the lake.

With the burn camp coming up I was sure hoping some of you on that side of the state had been able to fish it some and get us some reports. I've never been on that lake and am starting to get concerned that I won't be able to put the kids on any fish. Anyone?

Thanks Ledge. My boys are worried about finding fish as well.
Remember guys this is to take the burn victims fishing and to have a good time in doing so. You don't have to fish for crappie it can be for any species of fish. Worse case is get some worms and let them catch perch and catfish. It's about getting them some time to not think about what they have been through and to build memories.
My sons plan to target sandies, cats and perch so if someone can point them towards a consistent gill hole etc. it will help. Hopefully they will get there early enuf to scout a little the day before. Worms are a good idea. Thanks.
my dad is going to pull some cranks Thursday and Friday. I agree with crappiejiggin, it will be a numbers game in my boat. I think a box of worms and the shad of a dock will make for some great times! But thursday and Friday will be a time for to scout and fish new water.
I will pick up some minnows and crickets to try on Friday and definitely share info. I have never been to Hudson either so lets hope for beginners luck
Worms will probably be in my boat also but I plan on pulling some cranks too if I can find some sandbass for the kids to catch also........Ranger

Worms and crankbaits sounds good to me too. Hopefully we can find some sandies for the kids. But, I'm going to need all the help I can get on putting the kids on fish. I have a funeral in New Mexico and will be lucky to get back to OKC by midnight Friday night. I plan on driving to Hudson as soon as I get in but will have no opportunity to look the lake over. I'll appreciate any advice on fish locations (and staying awake.)
