Depending on where you launch, you might need to pay a Corps of Engineers day fee (or purchase an annual good at any COE ramp). Fishing has been good on several area lakes but not sure about the River.

Just wondering if anyone is fishing there near Fort Gibson and do you have to have any things other than a fishing license to put a boat in and what kind of fishingis hot right now

No fees at any of the ramps on the river near the town of Ft gibson ,city park and harbour ramps are free launch , if your looking for crappie i would go down river to boudinot creek and dip a jig or minnow around all the stumps usually back past the RR bridge is best and the barge tie just up around the corner past bouldinot on the left hold alot of fish this time of year ,,for bass if you just fun fishing you can catch them in the harbour just about anywhere in there from the bank or boat ,,catfish,, my BIL has been catchin them running jugs and drifting poles up towards the verdigrees just past the grand ,,,Good luck and enjoy if ya need more info PM me and i will try to help ya ,,Thanks
you can usually always catch a few crappie in and around the slips and in the BP along the rip rap in the harbour
