Thread: Hugo

Well I made the trip to Hugo this morning. I thought it had a good chance to be awful and I wasn't disappointed! I had to find out tho. 2 hours and 15 min drive one way. Put in at the HGHWY 3 bridge and fished down to the next launch. Water was brown, cold and flowing pretty hard. When I crossed it a couple of weeks ago it looked in much better condition. Fished everything from 2 foot to 30 foot, one dink. Not much on the finder and no shad. Water temp was 51 out in the river 54 in the oxbows. I bet it was great before the rains came last week. I know it had to have been warmer. I should have checked this BEFORE I left the house.
