I am constantly checking to see what the next days weather will bring so I know whether to plan a crappie trip to LCB..but of course being Oklahoma nothing ends up as forecasted I have been able to run out to Shawnee lake a few times and Tecumseh lake once even to thunderbird but no fish caught and only one bite....I do hope I get to go to Blackwell soon, although when I called the park ranger he said fishing has slowed way down....I really want to learn how to catch crappie consistently because although I can catch them from time to time when fishing for bass--I don't yet know how to just catch crappie..and the weather is keeping me from practicing...I hope soon the wind and cold will cooperate with me so I can teach myself how to catch crappie and to even catch the big slabs consistently....my freezer is empty
