Guess I am a little skeptical as I have tried all brands of braid and they all fade and tangle around the rod tips lol. Just tired of buying the stuff as it is expensive. Gonna have to wait until I fish win some who has it to try it out.

I agree, warmer weather would be nice since deer season is over now!!! Although this is the first year I've tried for winter crappie so maybe the cold should hang around a bit longer. Na, it's time to warm up a little now🙏🙏🙏

The way ya'll keep talkin about this braid I'm gonna have to check it out. I use braid almost exclusively and have since the late 90's when I was chasin them trash fish down on Fork but I do have issues with rod tip wrap and castability with light weight jigs. If these issues have been improved it will be worth checking out.

Ranger - Hat55 ordered so much Bonehead braid, cause you told him to, that he maxxed out my cc and overextended me. Now you owe me a couple guided trips just to let me break even on the 2 months of interest.
Lol you guys should start see some line show up tomorrow! We are fixing to come out with a new color even smaller diameter. Also we are going start making 500 yard spools.

guys I am just gonna toss it out there, while you are getting the Braid....do yourself a favor and get atleast one spool of Bonehead Mono. I was a Crappie Maxx Mono guy until I fished with Viscous, then I put the Maxx on the shelf and purchased several 2000 foot rolls of Viscous Hi-Vis and I swore Viscous would never be beat, well, that theory went to hell when I ordered my first spool of 8 pound Mono from Bonehead. Casts smooth, farther, is stronger, and has almost no memory. Since then, I have ordered 6 more spools. It is cheap and since your paying shipping on Braid, I would say add you a spool of Mono, I PROMISE you will not be disappointed.

I know its hard to believe, I thought the same thing, there is nothing that will top Viscous line, but now I have 3 large spools of it sitting on the shelf right next top the crappie maxx line and its off all my reels except my Spider Rigging rods (just have not got to them yet). Just give it a shot next time you purchase something. Is it worth it to buy one spool of it and pay the shipping, absolutely not, but if you are ordering more then one thing, it sure is. I was absolutely amazed the first time that i used it at the distance i was getting with my casts and also the amount of strength it had when freeing my jigs from the brush.

I turned you onto Vicious and thought I would never fish anything else since I had looked for several years trying to find a line that met my specifications. Well like you it was thrown out the window when I fished BoneHead Mono the first time. I was like close my mouth cause I was attracting flies. All I fish now!!!

Just got my Bonehead braid in today. Now Ranger, I am getting old and my memory some times plays tricks on me, but did you tell me that if I got some of this line "YOU GUARANTEED ME I would catch fish" or is that something Cricket George told me you said ????

I ordered some of the braid and mono. Will let you know what I think of it as soon as it gets here. Well that is if the lake thaws, Oologah is froze over right now. I will take some pictures later and post them.

Bonehead braid is so strong you could suspend from BOK Tower to clean windows with it. It is so strong You can pull a one ton truck out of a snow bank with it. It is so strong that on occasion when setting the hook on a crappie you can pull the skeleton right out of that slab and save cleaning time. ;-) There is no other braid as good as Bonehead!

Since George has been STICK in doors, he has been fishing from his couch, he has been complaining about not catching anything. I told him to try some Bonehead braid an his catching would improve !!!

Just curious, never used braid before, is there a certain way that it needs to come off the spool onto the reel???
Braid has no memory so for me it doesn't matter. One thing you need to is back off on your drag some cause it has no stretch.......Ranger
Bowman - If you use it on your next fishing trip and catch some fish then you will be hooked on braid. It is sooooo sensitive. You will love it.
