Scott, Fished Carl Blackwell a couple of times last month and did okay. Put 32 in the bucket one time and 20 another. You'll have to get there early, say 5:30. Bite quits or moves away from the dock around 9:30 or so. Just west of Stillwater so its a pretty good drive from T-town. Also, Eufaula has a dock at Arrowhead and another at Belle Starr. Haven't fished either of these docks in quite a while so can't say how they fish.
I don't understand why Seq. Bay on Gibson shuts down in the winter. That's a GOOD dock.
Going to Fountain head for a bit Saturday afternoon. I have to pick a trailer up in Durant at noon and will hit it on the way home. If you want to meet up it would be fun to meet ya.
pappa
I second Carl Blackwell. Also, you asked me one time about trout. They also have a trout pond there. Give me a call and I will hook you up with some cheese rigs and some power bait that you can have. I will also tell you how to get to the pond from the dock. The couple of times that I have gone, I have been with pappa. We did pretty good all things considered.

I'll keep an eye out Bobo!
Pappa, I have to work Saturday or I would make the trip. A guy I work with just told me about Belle Starr today. He said it had 3 wells and the center was the one to be in. Might have to check it out. Just found another dock in Grove at Kings point resort was told it's in 25fow and wood stove heated. Oh and 2000sq.ft. I have done really well on Grand so probably give it a shot. Would like to meet up and do some fishin with you though! Have sunday off so gonna hit a dock just not sure which way to go yet. Suppose to take my daughters boyfriend fishing so have to see what kind of schedule he has. Thanks for the info though.
Let me know on Saturday (evening), I'll see if I can duck some chores for a little while. :biggrin
Any of you guys that fish these docks feel like making a list of them that gives a location as well?
I was doing a job close to Hudson Marina Dock last week East of Boatman Road and stopped in to check it out. It didn't look bad at all. Open 24/7, with grill open 6-6.
I'll make a list of the public ones I fish and then add as I go. Pretty sure I'll start it Saturday after I get home.
Okay so me and fishin buddy went up to Indian hills marina at Bernice mon and tues caught lot of smalls 4 keepers mon and 2 Tuesday. Went back sat @6am fished till 3 had 1 keeper again caught lot of smalls. Took my daughters boyfriend to Hudson dock this morning. Got there @6 and fished till 10 when snow started there. Caught 2 smalls and had a couple bites bout it. Thinking gonna give it a break till weather breaks.
Crappie Reaper I have hit the Hudson dock several times. Usually do decent there. Usually catch lots of smalls and some keepers there. They have a nice selection of Garlands and hair jigs and serve up a mean ole burger or breakfast too. Rick and Ron Martin own and run it and have always been super nice and will even tell you what the fishing is like if you call ahead. Rick keeps the wood stove loaded up and more often than not he will be right there with you fishing.
