I am like Redge, when I use two, I always get hung and it seems like I lose both. Dont even want to think about trying 3 jigs.

I've had it in my mind, 7 rods with no more than 3 hooks per line is max allowed. I do good trying to monitor 2 rods with usually only 1 hook per!! lol

It is 7 rods, but I can't find anything on # hooks, unless it is a special regulation lake. I guess as many as you want to lose. So if that is correct, you could have a removable trotline affixed to a reel.

aserioushunter, That is what I was told at Lucky Lure (OKC) when the subject came up. We were talking about the Alabama rigs. But read special regulation for lake, some lakes have a three hook rule (trebles = 1)

If you use more than 3, its probably going to turn into a trot line.

It is 7 rods but not sure if there is a limit on the # of jigs. The bass fishermen throw those umbrella rigs. I have seen them with as many as 5 soft baits.
