    Default Rod tip replacement

Need to replace tip on BnM ultimate rod. Grizzlies has them for $ 23.00. Sounds high. Will something cheaper work? Thanks in advance for your advice. HAT

Finding another tip to work would require one with the same diameter. Even doing so you would not find it to be the same action in my opinion. Wish you well in which ever direction you decide to go......Ranger

Hmmm, sounds like an opportunity to get another "fissen po" Tell Momma you NEED to go to Tulsa and get a part for your "John Deer" The "Bretheren Protection Service" (BPS for short) in Broken Arrow has need for a consultation meeting and you need to go this weekend. Pickup a "tightline special" Crappie Maxx 12 footer for $49.99 for jerkin them slab sac au lait outa Pine Creek and Little River. Tie a piece of ribbon to the tip and it makes a good cattle prod. Momma "might buy that" then again she may not. Just tryin to hep my good man.

Should I take that money and spend it on new rod " never to fond of it anyway" If so what do you suggest I replace it with. Only other long rod I have is a 10 ft. 8-12lb 3/8- 3/4 oz made by Lip Ripper. Like it.

Depends on what you are looking for in a rod Kent. If it's brush your going to fish and need to turn some heads a med to med heavy rod is what I would be looking at. If it's dipping trees and swimming baits around standing trees and structure I would go with a med or med light action rod. I can say in own 4 Ozark Heavy Jigging Poles and they are somewhere in the med action to med light action rod. They have a lot of graphite and glass I. Them and work well for my business, and I use them for throwing a cork and jig. But when it comes to rod in hand it's a Huckabee for me. It just depends on what you want and everyone out here has their favorite and you could and will get 50 different opinions.....Ranger

You can order a new rod tip from BnM. About half the cost of a new rod. That is why I like there rods.

Most of you guys are well aware that I am dealing with my own rod demons right now but when I lose a tip, I take the eyes off and the rod takes a dumpster dive. They never feel the same with a repaired tip.
