Default Meadowlake Park Lake (Enid), Canton, or Spillway at Great Salt Lake?

Looking for my first OK fish if the weather warms up over the next week or so to melt the ice. Is it worth driving to one of the bigger lakes, or just explore the city lake? Also, does anyone know if I can use a yak or canoe on one of these "city" lakes?

Meadowlake had a big fish kill a couple years ago, mostly crappie. Salt Plains is done, super shallow silted in mixed with drought and heat have basically killed everything in it. Canton is still super low but there can be some decent fishing off the damn at times.

Thanks Achiro. I'll post if it ever thawed out. GSL looked fine a week ago for water level, but it looks like I'll start at Meadowlake. May be a cat or two hiding there. I will bring a crappie rod though, as they rebuild very quickly from die offs
