    Default Bought a new rod

Lews IM6 for my pops for Xmas. 7 ft power light. Should I give it to him or keep it and find him something else. Won't be spider riggin, mostly jiggin and ocassional drift. What say the experts?

Give it to him, then borrow it back and see how you like it.

Give it to me, then I will loan it to your father if you want to borrow it from him.

I use a couple of Lew's speed stick combo's. Both 4foot 8 in poles with the ST1 reels. I really like them. Both light action.

I have every rod and reel combo imagined for everything BUT slabs! Time to re-gear. Right now my favorite for dock fishin is a 30 year old Diawa FG. But I'm re-toolin!

I like the falcon buccu rods. Have four 6 footers and three 5 footers. Tough rods. Feel awesome. Strong. Sensative. Backed by awesome warranty. I have a couple longe Ozark rods that are really nice too. Just picked up a B&M Sharpshooter this last weekend and its actually very nice to. I will have the Falcon and B&M rods at blackwell this weekend if you want to try them out. Throw some Viscous line the reel and you will be set
