    Default Bartlesville/NE Oklahoma crappie fishing

Hi I am new to the area and fairly new to crappie fishing in general, but love it! What are the good lakes for fall/winter crappie fishing in the area?

I appreciate the info in advance!

I don't know if Hulah puts out any good slabs or not but it should, its a pretty decent SB lake. Oolagah is not too far to the east of ya and it can be challenging but a good spot.

I have heard good things about both Hulah and Copan, but have not fished either personally. Birch lake to the south has been a complete disappointment. Its worth the drive to Kaw and to Oolagah, both very good fisheries.

Ft Gibson and Tenkiller are hard to beat as well. Grand is also good at times along with Hudson....welcome to Oklahoma forum.....Ranger

There are two lake Hudson's. The Hudson this fish was caught from is over by grand. Bartlesville city lake is also called Hudson. If this is where you are going, fish the cement water intake. there are few piles down the dam also that are fair. All fish there have been about 8". same as birch, like fishers said. The place to go around here, right now, is up the river at Hula. Fall fishing in the past has been great! You can put your boat in at Rocky Ford ramp. Copan and Oolagaha has been dead for me for some time. If time permits, kaw!

Ended up going to skull on Hulah for a few hours fishing jigs and small spinners and nothing. Very nice day on the water though.
