Hello VH, to answer your question, they will be in cover all summer. Now it depends on the timber and the flat. Most of the time when the lake level is up we fish the flats but when the lake level is low we stay closer to the channel. EB

Any fish being caught in the creek? My parents are wanting me to bring the daughter down this weekend and I thought I might drag the boat along. They live just a few miles from hickory point.

I was there yesterday and we caught fish in 5 to 12 ft on standing timber we had 15 keepers and some throwbacks. Get there early for the best bite we used the Bobby Garland black chartruse and pumpkin chartruse combo.
