Try this again..Lake Eucha
I had this posted in the off topics. I have a elderly uncle who catfishes Lake Eucha and he lives on the lake. He is wanting to learn to catch crappie and is wanting me to come down, I 'm from kansas. To teach him how to do it. I have never fished there and I know nothing about the lake. Was wondering if someone would mind giving me a few pointers as to where and what color jigs seem to work there. I do thank you...

It's a clear water lake so fish it as so. I haven't fished it since I was a kid and that was a long, long time ago. It does have a lot of super sized Bluegill!

i fish the lake a lot for crappie. the jig i always start with is the b.g. monkeymilk. you will always find some fish down to the dam on the south bank this time of year. the bulffs across from old eucha school house is a good place. the lake is still down so i do not know how the spawn is going to go. the clear water helps the lake warm up so the spawn starts around the last of march to the first few weeks in april.
