    Default Kaw lake question

    Hello my crappie chasing friends,
i am from Missouri and thinking about chasing some specks tomorrow.
i know they are calling for windy conditions but work doesn't allow me much time off so I would like to try tomorrow while I have a chance.
my question is, can anyone give me any ideas where I would try to catch a couple from the bank at kaw lake? I have drove by the lake once but have no idea where my best chance of catching a couple specks is. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    thank you

The fish are too deep to do much good w/o a boat. You might try the Sarge Creek bridge, but be prepared to walk a long ways.

Any other lakes closer to Enid that I might have better luck at from the bank?

Lake Carl Blackwell west of Stillwater has a fishing Dock. It is enclosed and some times people slaughter the fish there. I have not fished in a long time but a buddy did real well on crappie in the 10" to 12" range there a couple weeks ago. Just make sure to purchase a day pass if you go.
