Dolese Park - OKC - Crappie Report January 2013
The ODWC has been stocking the Dolese Park pond in OKC for the past couple weeks with trout. As of now, I've been told they put 700 in so far. I've been out a couple times this year and have not caught one trout. Yesterday, however, I caught 8 decent sized crappie within 2 hours. They were hitting on sweet whole kernel corn from a can. Get out there if you can. Be ready though, it's pretty crowded with folks trying to pull in the rainbow trout!

From what the folks at Lucky Lure have been telling me small crappie jigs are working better than the corn at Dolese. Maybe I oughta go - never been there.
