I stopped by Crappie Pro in Eufaula yesterday afternoon and spent some quality time with Larry Russell. He showed me some of his new colors of wasshoppas which were great. I told him I hate coming in because after getting my juices flowing looking at all of his great baits I need a U Haul to check out. We laughed and had a good time. Bud McCombs from Eufaula met me there and picked up some wasshoppas too and I feel sure those baits got wet last night. He had some green pumpkin copper flake and green pumpkin red flake wasshoppas that could be the death to a bunch of spotted bass real soon. I have been using wasshoppas ever since Chatt Martin introduced them to me a couple years ago at a CDC Spring Meeting. I thought they were too big for crappie at 4", wwwweeeeeeeeeellllllllllll the Chattster showed me how wrong I was. Now they are my go to bait for crappie and bass. I am particularly fond of pearl with silver metal flake. The action with the 2" tails is incredible. Walleye will be the next target for them. Yes, he is a class act for sure. I first got to know him from an advertisement in CRAPPIE Magazine. I called and went to his place of business in OKC and picked up some baits and started using them. He is a kind and gentle man. He is one of the fellows that I always try to drop by and see when I am close to Eufaula. It is such a pleasure doing business with him.

Work took me down Hwy 69 today towards Crowder today, so I stopped in at Crappie Pro. What a pleasure it is to be able to buy some of the best jig heads on the market and also visit with two of the nicest people a man can meet. although my wife may kill me when she sees the bill, It was all worth it for some great company and over 400 Jig Heads! Also seen some great BG colors I had not seen yet, lets hope they work! Thanks Crappie pro!!!!!!!!!

Question: Did Crappie Pro get bought out? Everywhere I used to buy them, they've been replaced by the Bobby Garland Mo Glo heads, and the price has increased.
