Had a fun afternoon on Drip this evening. Took the 10 year old nephew and wife. Fished tops of trees in 18ft of water dipping beaver bottoms on huckabee rods. Nephew and wife were using small minnows. Brought home 26 over 10 inches in 2 hours. They had a blast. Fish seem to be larger than when I fished in 10 years ago in high school. Had one that went a pound 6-8 ounces didn't weigh it. The lake definitely has potential these days
Thats good to hear Josh. I was wondering if they were ever going to get some size to them. I mean how long can they stay 8-10 inches :dono
Nice report from one of the lesser known lakes Fabio. Now you need to try it with 2 kids under 10 for a full day and get a taste of what Fabio's Fabulous Fishing guide service will be like. (-;
Josh - what happened to Lake NoName? Did it dry up or too many people figure out where you were going?
Those fish are twice as big as the ones I caught a year ago there!

It's been tough trying to get away the last few months, and now with deer season as well. Dripping springs is hot right now. Went bass fishing and the crappie were lighting up the Garmin so I decided to go back and catch them. Brought home a limit all over 10 inches with 1 at 14 and a pound and a half. Bass fished more than I crappie fished. Fished tree tops oj the creek channel in 20-30 foot of water with minnows (tuffies) and mini slab slayer bobby garlands in pink and black with a 1/16th ounce jig
Glad to see ya getting back at it.
my phone didn't ring!
