    Default Eufaula's Mill Creek

I have never fished this area of the lake, but I was wondering if the boat ramp there is Corps owned or privately owned? Plus is it a save ramp for vehicles?

its been years since we fished Mill Creek. Never had anything bothered and always caught some nice fish. Not sure about the corp ramp or not but wish I could help....Ranger

    jiggin,

There is a COE ramp on the east side of the lake and a "private" ramp on the west side. Never heard of any vehicles being bothered at either ramp, but I have heard of people being told by the natives that they couldn't use the private ramp. I don't believe they can't stop you from using it though.

Well my daughter and I hit Mill Creek this morning. Water temp at Corp ramp was 62, but dropped to 58 at the bidge. We hit several lay downs and hit some piles in about 12 FOW. It was a bust for us not even a bite. Water clarity was 2-3" at best. Did talk to an older gentlman that said he caught 11 this up the creek itself. No size to them though. He also mentioned that the water was clearer in the creek itself. He mentioned something about Warr Acers I think is waht he called it.

Well if we get all the rain they are calling for I'm afraid the spawn will end up around it's normal time of year. Let's just hope the weathermen are wrong on their forecast for Monday and Tuesday.
