Navigate carefully and be prepared for company if the weather is good. Both up the creek and down the creek can be good. My info is not current as of this week, but fish have been on the breaks in relatively deeper water. With this weather, that is bound to be changing and some fish will quite possibly be on the banks by then. I would probably start on the breaks in 10-12 fow and move shallower from there.

Someone might chime in with more current info. Good luck.

Fished Gaines out of Hickory Point Saturday, started at about 9:00 till 3:00, fished slip corks with jigs all up and down the river, no takers, talked to several people jig fishing and minnow fishing, seemed no one was having any luck, couldn,t believe it. The water temperature was 70 in the main channel, went south to creek going west (can't remember the name) it was 75 surface back in there.
