    Default Boat ramp near onapa

Hello. I'm in search of another ramp close to onapa. I went to use the one at onapa yesterday and some yayhoo decided he'd unload and just leave his truck parked on the ramp! I waited ,after honking my horn, for about 30 mins before deciding to go elsewhere. I was not too happy that I had to try another spot due to someone's inconsideration to others but that's life. I went to gentry creek and only ended up with one fish. :-(
Thanks for any info you guys may be able to give me!!!!

Lets hope it was a mechanical problem, with the vehicle I mean, not with the hardware upstairs.

There are a couple of small ramps b/t Onapa and I40. Not sure how to get to them, since I usually use ramps on the west side rather than the east. There is also a ramp south of Onapa in Leisure Land development.

I would have had his truck towed. If that's a bonafide Corp or County ramp, there is no excuse for leaving a vehicle on the ramp. If the person had mechanical trouble then his boat should have been there and he should have been with it while waiting on a wrecker. Some people will do that to take a boat out on a test run too. Perhaps the test failed and the maggot got caught adrift.

    Default Ramps by Onapa

My recommendation would be to go around to Lake Eufaula State Park which the locals know as Fountainhead. It's not far across the lake there to get back to Onapa. They make a pretty good burger there at the marina too!

It's a county ramp....county paved the lot last year or so....also if the water is right u can just go straight and back your trailer off the side....there is a dirt ramp and a concrete ramp in Enchanted Oaks as well just north of Onapa
