    Default April Rain!!! Finally

We are finally getting some much needed rain here in the southeastern part of the state. Hopefully its enough to bring back some of the vegetation and life back to the area lakes. With the rise in the lake waters and change in temps, what will this do to the bite and temperment of crappie? Thanks in advance for your responses.

It's not going to interfere with the bite if that's your concern. With lake levels rising hourly as they have been the last few days, I see them having access to shallow areas in which to spawn that were not there last week.

In my humble opinion, I don't believe the rising water levels will have any negative effects on the spawn or the way they bite.

The persistant crappie fisherman will catch crappie. Good luck guys.
