It's been a while since I last fished Bellcow, but as I recall the creeks, ditches and pond dams on the north end of the lake were the most productive areas during early spring. This lake warms up very fast in the spring. Good luck.

hey thanks i think i know where you are talking about we use to fish the creek a lot as a kid and caught lot of big crappie out of it.
I used to fish the fish the trees out there and do pretty good but they werent very big
man i have yet to find the crappie on this lake.. i think that the weather mess me up this weekend.. but i have tried the trees and went this weekend and fished the rock banks and rip raft and the snady banks and still not even a hit. i know this lake holds some big crappie but i just cant find them on the main body of the lake.

yeah i graduated from there in 2004 and as far as the heated dock on the north side i haven't seen it but they did an open air type dock on the south side just before area A i think. never really pay attention to what the areas are what but the ramp on the south side. i use to fish the creek that leads into the lake in the west side and we were catching some huge crappie upwards of a pound and a half and bigger. but finding them on the main body is pretty hard
