Question: Is this tournament strictly for boat fishing? Next question; All boats need to check in at Crowder ramp before dispersing to any area we choose on the lake, right? In other words, we can't have our boat setting in the water from where we plan to depart, we need to run it by for check-in first, right?
Pay at 7 at Crowder Ramp, start fishing at 8 from wherever you want, and be at the weigh in by 4. Fish must be alive to weigh. I don't care whether you have your boat with you at Crowder or not. If you fish from the bank you just have to fish the same area as your partner. Not one partner in one area and other partner sonewhere else. Please don't read too much into this. If we were fishing a tournament with a $200 per team or more entry fee it would be different. We just wanted a chance for a bunch of us to get together and fish and see how many slabs we can bring to the scales. Come have fun and get to know your fellow crappie fishers.

I know the rules for CM say only 2 people to a boat, but can we make an exception for our kids?

Looking forward to the 14th. After talking to a few guys we have decided to lower the entry to $30 per team and $10 for big fish. I want to stress it is not about the money, it is just to generate some interest. If that is still too much let us know.
If some of you don't have a partner or maybe don't have a boat but are interested, speak up. Maybe you can pair up with someone else on here. We will have a good time. Look forward to seeing several of you.

Winner take all or is there a 2nd, 3rd. and 4th place? Or does it depend on how many entrants?
Sorta wanted to know because my fishing partner and I don't think its going to be fair when we take all the cash home and the rest of you are standing around holding an empty bag.Rofl

I haven't caught much in the last month. Especially not like you have been catching them Ranger. I just hope we have a limit of fish to weigh! EB
