    Default a crappie Christmas eve

I called a favor in from a friend and took my wife's nephew(8years of age) and brother-n-law fishing down on some privet boat slips down at lake thunderbird and we got there about 8:00am and stayed about 4.5hours and we didn't keep count but we cleaned up on some crappie when we got home we ended up having 9.00lbs of crappie fillets and my wifes nephew Austin caught his first crappie they are from Michigan and had never caught or had crappie so we put fresh dinner on the table for Christmas eve dinner

    thanks Crappie Josh aka C.J.

Great report, CJ. I might have gone in my younger days, but at 30 deg here at Ft Cobb lake, I tend to hang a little closer to the fire. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Wow you guys did catch a bunch. It takes a bunch of crappie to fill an ice chest. Bet y'all had a blast.

Good report. Man I think I'll take my boat into Calypso Cove Marina and do some Crappie fishing. What were y'all catching them on?

That boy will go home to Michigan telling all his friends about his Uncle carrying him crappie fishing. Congrats on the great catch and I bet you guys really enjoyed that dinner.

Great fishing report, thanks for sharing. I love to see folks take kids with them so they can learn about crappie fishing while they're young. That kid is hooked for life now.
