Since I've got the cabin basically finished, I can cut loose now and help with the get-together. I'll be glad to request some goodies from Cabella's, but they require at least 90 days notice before the date of the event. If we have this thing anytime sooner than the first week of April, Cabellas won't be donating any booty for prizes.
Leland, you might give me a call in the next day or so if you need my help. I suggest we get a date set that satisfies as many members as possible.
I am still all for April besides it is a beautiful month ...nicer weather unless there is a tornado, flood or whatever. . But we will come any time you all chose.
Has anybody ever tried the Claremore Expo. The casino has had tackle shows there as well.

lol..good point. Even in April, good weather days can be limited, what with cold fronts, winds, etc. I love the get-together, but I'd hate to waste a bluebird day on the seminar if I could be fishing...Quote:

I like the Eufaula Lake area personally even though it is a long drive for me. If we have it in Claremore all of you fishermen and women will be on Oologah Lake catching my fish.:D LOL!!

Hadn't thought of that pondhopper. I haven't had many bad days of fishing, just some I didn't catch any.

OK, It's March 26th. Sat.#9 community center / Longtown. Lets set it to start at noon an get the BBQ, out of the way and start off on a full belly. Anyone can come before then but that's the official time. We can keep it going till 9 or 10 p.m. so others can come on by as well. I will get the estimated cost per person for the catering.
