Fishing rip rap
I hear about people fishing rip rap alot. What technique do you all use to fish it other than trolling? Cast and retrieve? verticle fishing?

I also fish rip-rap with a crankbait and also use a 1 1/2 inch shad body on a 1/16 ounce jig head. With the jig I make short casts, because it will hang up in the rocks if you make long casts.

Spider-rig, and jigs paralelling the rip-rap.
Throw an anchor out in deep water, and an anchor on the bank, and slide out to the depth of the fish are holding and drop some minnows down to them.
