    Default cabins

Thought I'd better tell anyone who is interested.....the cabins do NOT have lake access. You have to take your boat to the cabin with you. Great place to stay and plenty of room for your boat and vehicle.

We looked at Arrowhead and Oakridge too. Arrowhead has some nice sites, but Oakridge sure needs an upgrade! Flush toilets would be nice! I guess not many people use Oakridge for recreation, just fishing.

Scott S, Which Hwy 9 Landing....north or south? We went for the weekend on Friday to scout an area in advance. We picked up a map for Hwy 9 north and south. Some of those sites have huge rocks where I would pull up the boat. Don't want to beat the poor little thing to death on the rocks. Hopefully we will find a place with a little bit of sand to beach the boat.

Peke - Use an old trailer tire that is no good and put in in the shallow water and run up on it to beach. It saves the bottom from damage.

I'm glad he said it. for once, I odn;t have to take the heat for an opinion.

The place is kinda spooky to me just because of them.

Gentry creek up on the Deep fork arm has some nice facilities.

The north side, campsite numbers N22-25 are all good. The parking pads are kind of short but still had some fifth wheel travel trailers in the 28-30' range in them this weekend. The shoreline is clear and close, close like 15 to 25 steps from the camper.
Majority of Hwy 9 Landing is no longer boat friendly due to all the rock that has been put in.
