    the spawn is about to a halt. yesterday me and the client's backed off the bank, and found a flat that funnel down adj to the creek channel. we caught well over 60 fish. it was a great day i love the post spawn bite you can slay the crappie. good luck on your next adventure.

    So do you think they just moved off the back because of the weather or are they done spawning in Gains?

    you can still pull a few from the bank, but most of the fish are out holding tight to wood, adj to deep water.

    thanks, thinking about heading down there next weekend and hit it again, haven't fished the post spawn down there but have heard a lot of good things about it.
