Thread: lake hefner

I was setting in 20 fow water fishing jigs down to 18-19 feet..

Went back to hefner yesterday...got on the water around 9....the lake has dropped around two feet since last week and the temp at the dam is now 61.9....quite a bit of change since my last trip when I did pretty good.....fished till 1 and only caught three crappie and one sand bass. I hung a pretty good fish on a 3 inch grub... I expect it to be an eye...but came off before I got a look...of course I was also fighting the 20 mph wind on top of all that!

it has been a while was able to make a post i have been out a few times recently but just sand bass fishing it was excellent but to day was jut to windy i am getting into the crappie mode love winter fishing for crappie see ya there sam
