Thunderbird report

Anyone hit the bird this weekend? I'm going Wed. with a buddy coming from Broken Arrow who sleeps if I dont put him on fish!!

went yesterday and the water temperature was 48-50 degrees. We tried several spots on the little river arm of the lake with brush anywhere from 10 to 15 foot of water just caught a few small ones.

I went Sat and hit up a couple of staging areas. Couldn't go far 'cause my outboard went out last week. I got the impression the front we had pushed them out a little deeper, 'cause my buddy and I only caught 9 keepers, doing the same thing that netted us 46 the weekend before. Maybe they were there but just tight-lipped. All I know is it was S-L-O-W.

they are saying 60 and 5mph wind tomorrow...i will be sitting on the bird most of the day

That sounds like a good plan for tomorrow, good luck. We did not try the pumphouse but probably should have.

got a report for those of u who may be going out tomorrow.....buddy of mine called and said he found some good numbers at the marina castin a slip cork as close to the store as possible....he said he caught most of his fish 8' deep

thanks redneck...ill slide by there and give it a try!!!!....looks like the winds are a little stronger than 5 tomorrow....usually do better with a breeze...if i can just hold on the brush!..

Redneck, what were they using next to the store fishin 8ft, was it minnow's or jigs, and what color if jigs???
