Fish Eucha at least 40 days a year. There is not much in the way of standing timber. Crappie are always around the pump house and the bridge; Always. I normally start fishing the 4th and 3rd Pillars (center) of the bridge and work my way to the bank area until i find them. Minnows and jigs both work. I like pumpkin, silver, and white colors on Lake Eucha. Average size is small 8".
For larger size go to the deeper coves and fish the brush piles. The night bite with a crappie light works very well. Hope this helps.

There are about a dozen buoys marking brush but many have disappeared the last couple of years. I use my graph and side imaging to locate brush on the ledges just inside the mouth of the coves.

I know this is an awfully old thread but I'm new to the sight and was hoping to revive it somewhat. I fished Eucha in my new boat last fall and didn't do none too bad at all if I do say so myself! Dewinterized the boat and got out there today for most of the evening. Didn't catch nothin but then again water level is higher than I've ever seen it personally. Not to mention the wind today was pretty hard on anyone trying to fish for crappie from a boat.

Anyhoo, I was wondering if there was still that interactive map of brush piles that you guys mentioned and a link to it would be great. I tried to find it on my own but had no luck. I'm pretty sure the buoys are gone, or at least I haven't seen any, and I'm assuming that if these brush piles are actually made of brush, well, there probably gone as well by now.... I guess I'm hoping you guys will tell me they're made of plastic pipe like the ones on the East side of the bridge? If so they could still be intact and all I gotta do is find em!

I really only have one honey hole that I've found on my own. It would be nice to try some others... Weren't no fishin it today thats for sure! Not in that wind. Other than the one spot I fish the usual places like everybody else long as nobody's already in em. I grew up on Grand and caught plenty of fish, you know, before the invasion. Don't even try to fish that lake anymore. I think Euches great, just wish I knew more about it.

    Thanks
