Went down to Home Depot to get a couple of clamps and while walking down the aisle noticed some 3 cu ft Magic Chef upright freezers (not refrig/freezer) on sale. Normally $185 marked down to $30. I had been thinking of taking a small freezer down to the lake now that I have my RV there full time. The RV freezer is pretty small. This one has pretty good reviews also. Couldn't pass it up - with my retired military discount it came to $27. They had about a half dozen at that price in south OKC - don't know about the other stores. Now I've just got to be able to go fish when I'm down there so I can put some fish in it. Deck and storage building are about done so I should get on the water soon.

Hey Floyd, since when does HD offer vets a discount? Is it all stores in OK or just one you shop at? I know Lowes does, I use it all the time and never a question except I show my drivers license with the flag in the corner proving I'm a vet. My closest HD is 50 miles away and I have a Lowes in Ardmore otherwise I'd use HD. My son is the Director or Human Resources for all HD stores in the US and tells me there is no corp policy for vet discounts. What say you my friend?

I don't know if it's all vets. I show my retired military ID at both Home Depot and Lowe's and get the discount. I get it at all the HDs and Lowes that I go to.

Heck of a buy on a small freezer for an RV.
We just bought an RV and would love to find a deal like that.
