Default Spider PooPoo Problem on Boat at Marina

Any of you that keep your boat at the dock or marina probably have experienced this - 1,000's of little black spider poo's all over your boat.

Is there any good remedy to prevent this that will still keep my boat intact and usable? "That would rule out Fire and Dynamite!"

I seen some suggestion for using "Ortho Home Defense Max" but like most pesticides it is not recommended to spray around the water, guess it would be toxic to the fish.

Not that I know of unless you use a cover.

Not sure how well this works, but they make a spider net that you can hang over your slip area above your boat - Spider Net Boat Protection. We always just put our cover back on our pontoon at the end of the weekend -- and place dryer sheets around the boat (and sticking out of the under-seat storage compartments) to keep them off the boat when it's covered. When we do get spider poop stains on the seats, we use a Miracle Eraser to get them clean again. Also using 303 Protectant a few times a year helps get the spider poop off as well -- and it protects the seats from the sun damage.

    Thanks Steve,
A spider net, now who would of thunk it! I have heard of using the dryer sheets, I may give those a try I'm also experimenting with a couple of other things. My toon is a hardtop so no cover for it yet, I hope to find someone that can make my Bimini into a full enclosure but haven't found anyone.

Check around with any awning place in your area and they can quote you a price to make your full enclosure. I found a place in BA that was going to make me a new custom cover (our 2003 original cover is a little rotted and ripping in places) and they quoted me $2K. What I was most interested in is having the back of the cover go completely down to the rub rail to cover the carpet that is outside of the fence. That carpet area start looks really nasty since it is not protected. Never pulled the trigger on that project -- trying to talk the little Admiral into a new tritoon in a couple of years instead.

What is the name of that place, I'm in Tulsa but I keep the boat down on Gibson.
