Congrats. That early from what I have seen of Mac is tough. Check right beside roads that intersect like a trunk of a tree. They often use the roads down there as funnels. Remember, they have no fear of vehicles either.

Its extremely tough. 90 degree days, and the insects will carry one away. So much cover that its really hard to see. The hunt I was on last year was a bust. They didn't mow all season, so any clearings around the bunkers were 8' tall johnson grass, and the folks that mow the hay fields hadn't been in there yet, so those fields were shoulder high or more as well.
