oklahoma trout fishing

Lots of ponds/lakes around the state are stocked regularly through the winter. I'm sure there is some finesse to catching them but the few days after they stock them are pretty simple. Year round fisheries are also available and pretty good but it's been a while since I did that and someone else could probably give you more up to date advise.

I do trout fish in the lower illinois usually in the summer time , I don't catch them to eat though I use them for bait to catch striper,,,

If I'm not searching for crappie I'm usually at the Lower Mountain Fork fly fishing. I love it over in Broken Bow, tons of fun!! If you think you'd be interested check out beavers bend fly shop forum, they have pretty useful info.
