I make my own stink bait by grinding any type of cheese,good or moldy and place 10#s or so along with 7#s of brains into a bucket. Grind some shad, maybe 5#, and add to the bucket. Next add the liquor off some soured wheat, maybe a cup and stir everything with a paint stirrer attached to a power drill. Put a lid on it and set downwind from the house for a couple weeks for it to ferment. Stir it every 2-3 days to knock the gas out of it. You can also buy shredded cheese at Walmart and save some time.
CdavisLPN - I think really what you have is just chum and you need to make the cheese bait that I just gave you the recipe for and use the chum as an attractor.
