Default Catfishing Gear - DIY Juglines and 8' Throw Net

A few years ago I bought some PVC fittings from Wild Wolf Productions with the intent on making my own jugs. I bought these because these have a spool on the bottom that you simply wind the line around. Well, like a lot of other things, I never got around to using them. I have both the large size and the smaller size. You can see how they work here. Jug Making Kits I have 3 kits for the 2 5/8" size and 3 kits for the 3 3/4" size.

I also have a Fitech GS-1500 Series Cast net. This is their top of the line throw net. It has 1 1/2lbs of lead PER FOOT around the bottom and is 8'. I bought it to reach those deep schools of shad during the Winter and Summer. Again, it's never been used! You can scroll down toward the bottom on this website (Fitech GS-1500 Cast Nets) to find out more info including what they're selling for brand new.

I prefer to sell these local to avoid having to ship them. I'll give my fellow Okies a shot at them before I put them up on the main classified site. Due to the rules here, I can't post the prices, so you'll need to PM me.

The rules evidently do no count on the Ks board. Good luck Don!

I see prices posted all the time in personal classified ads not just in Ks. I had assumed the price posting was intended for sponsors and bussinesses who may try to compete on site. A little clarification would go a long way. Not trying to create a stink just wanna know for sure. Thanks.

All I know about it JD1 was that Super Moderator "G" stepped into the Oklahoma Off topic a while back and edited someones post on something due to them putting a price with his post. The Oklahoma board was called out for "breaking the rules". I myself was guilty of it when I listed my boat, then had to edit my own post because of it. Regardless of what other States can get by with, evidently we are not allowed. According to what I was told, the prices must only be posted in the classified forum with a link to the Oklahoma Off Topic post relating to it. So the bottom line seems to be, if we want to sell something local, we have to price the items in a thread that very few read. It doesn't matter whether the rest of the boards are able to price their items.
