    I'm hoping to get to go squirrel hunting soon so I can get me some squirrel tail and probably try my hand at some rabbit hunting. Just not sure how to cure the skin to keep it soft and not have it dry out hard.

    Throw then in the freezer and dont worry about them, or split the skin, pull the bone out and salt them.
