You all know that you'd get more views of your classified ads if you put them up on the "site wide" classified ads.
Personal Classified Ads

That's kinda where it all belongs. What you can do is put it there, and mention it here in the OK OT forum (include a link to your ad in the classifieds).

Part of the reason I mention this is because there's a rule where you can only mention pricing information in the classified ads section. The reason for the rule is to prevent spamming of all the regular forums. I thought I'd throw this up for discussion here. If you did it the way I suggest, your classifieds would get more views. You'd start a thread here that links to the classified ad that has the pricing info in it. What do you all think?

We have very few that look to post anything for sale Ed. Most are within driving distance or meeting halfway. The regular classified section should suffice, but I don't think many go there unless they're looking for something specific. Our members are pretty good about letting us know when to delete. Doug and I stop in every now and then to delete older posts.

I'm positive that no one posting something is trying to break the rule. Everyone seems to be ok with it in the off topic section. Has there been a complaint?
